TEAM EXPECTATIONS
YOU
ARE OLD ENOUGH TO BE RESPONSIBLE
1. Respect and Sportsmanship:
On and off the field
To Coaches, Parents, Team mates, other teams, and
the Referees. Shake Referee hand after every game.
REMEMBER: WE REPRESENT OUR COMMUNITY
2. Participation:
Come to practice—call if you can’t make it, and it’s
your responsibility to find out when the next practice is.
Take part in drills
Play position assigned to the best of your ability,
(no slacking)
Take advantage of training if possible
3. Punctual: Be on time for practice, games, and training.
4. Encouraging: To teammates at all times. No name-calling, condemning play, or blaming. Your teammates are friends at all times. You win, lose, laugh, and cry together.
5. You’re the Player: Let the coach do the coaching and the Referees do the officiating. Your talent, skills, leadership abilities and character are best noticed by the way you play, practice, and get along with others on and off the field.
HAVING FUN IS DIFFICULT
WITHOUT ALL THE ABOVE.
